From the District Director

My Brothers,

It’s a new day in the South Carolina District, and I’m honored to stand beside you as we build, grow, and strengthen our brotherhood together. Our theme is simple but powerful—Be A Brother. It’s a call to action, a challenge, and a reminder of the bond we all share.

To Be A Brother means more than just wearing our letters—it means showing up for one another, being accountable, leading with integrity, and serving with purpose. It means creating an environment where every voice matters, every brother is valued, and no one is left behind.

This district is filled with talented, passionate, and dedicated brothers. We are a melting pot of success, and when we work together, uplift one another, and move as one, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. Each of us brings something unique to the table, and by leaning into collaboration over competition, we ensure that our collective strength pushes us forward.

Accountability, integrity, and service must be at the heart of all we do. We must hold ourselves and each other to a high standard, not because it’s expected, but because it’s what true brotherhood requires. Alpha has never been about standing still—we are called to lead, to serve, and to set an example for those around us.

So, Brothers, I challenge each of you to Be A Brother in every sense of the word:

✔ Be present. Engage with your chapter, support your brothers, and stay connected.
✔ Be accountable. Honor your commitments, keep your word, and push yourself to be better.
✔ Be a leader. Leadership isn’t just about a title—it’s about action, influence, and impact.
✔ Be of service. Give your time, your energy, and your wisdom to uplift those around you.
This is OUR district. Together, we will elevate it. Together, we will push forward. Together, we will ensure that every brother feels seen, heard, and supported.

I’m looking forward to what we’ll accomplish together. Let’s get to work, and most importantly, let’s Be A Brother.
Fraternally,

Bro. Ruben L. Freeman
