District-Wide Brother’s Keeper Initiative Supporting Brother William “Will” Irby, Jr.

Brothers,

This communication is sent to you to ask that you keep Brother William “Will” Irby, Jr. and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Brother Irby is a 43-year member of the Fraternity initiated on November 20, 1975, into the Beta Delta Chapter on the campus of South Carolina State University. Brother Irby, Life Member 6222, is currently a member of the Alpha Psi Lambda Chapter seated in Columbia.

At our General Convention in Las Vegas, Brother Irby suffered a heart attack. He is making some improvement and we are prayerful for a significant recovery.

With that being said, it is my desire that we initiate a District-wide Brother’s Keeper’s initiative to support our Brother and his family in their time of need in the same spirit of fraternal care and assistance that the A. Charles Haston Brother’s Keeper Program was adopted at the 90th General Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 23, 2010.
