Columbia, South Carolina - The South Carolina Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha (SCALPHA) will conduct a panel discussion on the “Truth about Prostate Health” on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Dr. Dennis Wilson, SCALPHA Surgeon General, will moderate the session. Four panelists will discuss how men can prevent and protect themselves from the dangers of Prostate Cancer and related conditions.
The panelists are as follows:
Dr. Coniglario Jones Board Certified Family Practice Physician
Bro. Anthony Minter Prostate Cancer Survivor
Dr. Rudy Wise Board Certified Oncologist
Dr. Thomas Edmunds Board Certified Urologist
Prostate Cancer is the leading cause of death for men from 50 to 85 years of age in general, particularly African-American males. Many of those occurrences could have been prevented.
